Rolex Zenith Daytona 16523 White

US$0.00
SOLD

Description

This is the Rolex Zenith Daytona reference 16523. Little needs to be said about the Daytona line from Rolex. The Daytona is likely the most recognizable among sports watches, even to those that have little to no interest or knowledge. Prior to the utilization of the Zenith El Primero movement, Rolex chronographs were manually wound timepieces. In Baselworld 1988, Rolex introduced their first automatic chronograph powered by the legendary Zenith El Primero movement. This lasted until 2000, when Rolex developed their own Calibre 4130 movements to power their 6-digit Daytonas. As with many other vintage Rolex pieces, the Zenith Daytona represented a significant milestone in the history of their Daytona line and remains extremely sought after.

Condition

This Rolex 16523 is in good pre-owned condition. The case appears unpolished and the lugs remain thick and sharp. The bracelet shows some signs of wear consistent with its age, with hairlines more apparent on the gold centre links and has virtually no stretch. The dial is clean and the caseback sticker is still intact. All parts are period correct with 403 endlinks and clasp stamped P9 and a MK3 bezel. This 16523 is a N serial and retains the original box, papers and manual.
