Are watches good investments?
In the strictest sense of the word, watches should not be looked at as investments. Most timepieces depreciate to a certain base value, where they tend to remain at after a period of time. Sometimes, this depreciation can be minimized by buying pre-owned timepieces. There are investible watches which values increase over time but these tend to be exceptions to the rule. Watches should be not primarily be treated as investments but rather as possessions to be enjoyed.
